On the international carriage of goods under the application of the TIR Carnet (TIR Convention) - an international agreement adopted in 1975 under the auspices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. The aim of the Convention is to create a system for the transportation of goods that simplifies the procedures for clearing goods when they cross borders.
